Russia Bans Rocket Engine Sales to U.S. Military

Interesting, as the relationship is dismantled. No Star Trek for Scottie now and Kirk gets laid off?

Russia said it will no longer export rocket engines to the U.S. to launch military satellites, adding to a dispute in Washington that already pits the two biggest U.S. defense contractors against billionaire Elon Musk.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin told reporters in Moscow today that Russian engines can be used only to launch civilian payloads, amid tensions over Russia’s support for separatists in Ukraine and the U.S. and European economic sanctions that have followed.

The Russian-made RD-180 rocket engines are used by United Launch Alliance LLC, a joint venture of top contractors Lockheed Martin Corp. (LMT) and Boeing Co. (BA) that’s the sole supplier of rocket launches for the Pentagon. The engines power Atlas V rockets.

Musk’s Space Exploration Technologies Corp. has sued the U.S. Air Force, claiming it created an illegal monopoly for the military’s satellite launch business.

SpaceX, based in Hawthorne, California, also contends that the contract with United Launch Alliance funnels money from American taxpayers to Russia’s military industrial complex and potentially to those under U.S. sanctions because of the Ukraine crisis.

Last week, U.S. Court of Federal Claims Judge Susan Braden lifted an order that temporarily blocked the Air Force from buying the Russian engines.

Geoengineering is Real: British Academic Reveals Size and Scope of Operation

Many ask about cloud spraying, here's answers for you.

Why just not leave it up to Mother Nature.

21st Century Wire
12 May 2014

No, it’s not a conspiracy theory. Geoengineering is very real indeed…

Until now, the issue has been kept quiet and for the most part remains invisible from the mainstream political, or even the environmental agendas.

British academic researcher David Lim is working hard to elevate this issue in the public conversation. He will be speaking this weekend at the AV5 Conference (see event details below).

Geoengineering can be divided into two areas: weather modification (an established decades-old industry), military operations. All of these, says Lim, fall under the banner of “environmental manipulation”. Governments and institutions are now timidly admitting what the public have suspected for years now – that geoengineering exists and is being used for the most part to ‘mitigate climate change’.

The term ‘Chemtrails’ is not a conspiracy theory either. The name can be traced back to the US Congress itself. House Bill 2977, Space Preservation Act 2001, Page 5, line 15, under the heading of “exotic weapons”.

The logical next question to ask is this – if governments have not been forthcoming on this crucial public health issue, then would they tell the truth as to what and why it’s being done?

Here is his presentation from last year in 2013…

Look who’s calling voting ‘divisive’ and ‘illegal’

When will the US learn to Butt out? Clean up America first now.

Blood-soaked US Has No Business Opposing Sovereignty Plebiscites

This Can't Be Happening!
By David Lindorff
12 May 2014

The rot at the core of US international affairs, domestic politics and the corporate media is evident in the American approach to the Ukraine crisis.

Just look at the freak-out from all quarters as the people of the eastern part of that country conduct, under conditions of attack and violence fomented by military units sent in by the Kiev putsch government, a peaceful plebiscite asking people to give their view as to whether they want some kind of sovereignty separating them from western Ukraine.

The official US State Department position on the balloting in Dohansk and Luhansk is that this voting effort was "illegal" and "an attempt to create further division and disorder."

"The United States will not recognize the results of these illegal referenda," said State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki.

The White House called the voting “illegitimate” and “illegal.”

The US has not once called the violent coup that overthrew Ukraine’s elected government illegitimate or illegal.

Indeed any violence during the voting, which appeared to actually be celebratory, came from Ukrainian troops. Even the Associated Press, which has largely been parroting the US line on separatists in eastern Ukraine, wrote:

“Although the voting in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions appeared mostly peaceful, armed men identified as members of the Ukrainian national guard opened fire on a crowd outside a town hall in Krasnoarmeisk, and an official with the region's insurgents said people were killed. It was not clear how many.” (Actually the reporter on this story wrote that he saw the shooting, and witnessed two dead bodies as a result, so AP didn't have to weaken the story's authority by attributing it to "officials with the region's insurgents+ -- the latter an odd term to give to armed people working, clearly has the support of the communities, to defend them from attack by armed, uniformed thugs sent in from the Kiev regime to disrupt and kill people.)

This Collapse is a ‘Crisis of Bigness’

Sorry BUT, another Reality Check folks. The Chips are stacking up.

Living through a collapse is a curious experience. Perhaps the most curious part is that nobody wants to admit it’s a collapse.

The results of half a century of debt-fuelled “growth” are becoming impossible to convincingly deny, but even as economies and certainties crumble, our appointed leaders bravely hold the line. No one wants to be the first to say the dam is cracked beyond repair.

To listen to a political leader at this moment in history is like sitting through a sermon by a priest who has lost his faith but is desperately trying not to admit it, even to himself. Watch Nick Clegg, David Cameron or Ed Miliband mouthing tough-guy platitudes to the party faithful. Listen to Angela Merkel, Nicolas Sarkozy or George Papandreou pretending that all will be well in the eurozone. Study the expressions on the faces of Barack Obama or Ben Bernanke talking about “growth” as if it were a heathen god to be appeased by tipping another cauldron’s worth of fictional money into the mouth of a volcano.

In times like these, people look elsewhere for answers. A time of crisis is also a time of opening-up, when thinking that was consigned to the fringes moves to centre stage. When things fall apart, the appetite for new ways of seeing is palpable, and there are always plenty of people willing to feed it by coming forward with their pet big ideas.

But here’s a thought: what if big ideas are part of the problem? What if, in fact, the problem is bigness itself?

If Economic Cycle Theorists Are Correct, 2015 To 2020 Will Be Pure Hell For The United States

What they fail to state is that it will run steadily downhill after that.

Whether such events occur is not known until they occur, as we only see what occurs, not what will occur as a result of reality. This flies directly in the face of business planning where plans are written be they 1 year, 5 year or strategic plans and all are expected to occur based on thoughtful consideration. This is why people get bonuses for meeting or exceeding plans. So why do we have such difficulty in understanding what economists and history teaches us? Is it that that we can not face the truth or is it because we are conditioned by a media not to think about events until reported.

In any case one is best to have a plan based on the best information considering all inputs as the plan will mean nothing and never be achieved without doing so.

The Economic Collapse
By Michael Snyder

Does the economy move in predictable waves, cycles or patterns? There are many economists that believe that it does, and if their projections are correct, the rest of this decade is going to be pure hell for the United States. Many mainstream economists want nothing to do with economic cycle theorists, but it should be noted that economic cycle theories have enabled some analysts to correctly predict the timing of recessions, stock market peaks and stock market crashes over the past couple of decades. Of course none of the theories discussed below is perfect, but it is very interesting to note that all of them seem to indicate that the U.S. economy is about to enter a major downturn. So will the period of 2015 to 2020 turn out to be pure hell for the United States? We will just have to wait and see.

One of the most prominent economic cycle theories is known as "the Kondratieff wave". It was developed by a Russian economist named Nikolai Kondratiev, and as Wikipedia has noted, his economic theories got him into so much trouble with the Russian government that he was eventually executed because of them...

The Soviet economist Nikolai Kondratiev (also written Kondratieff) was the first to bring these observations to international attention in his book The Major Economic Cycles (1925) alongside other works written in the same decade. Two Dutch economists, Jacob van Gelderen and Samuel de Wolff, had previously argued for the existence of 50 to 60 year cycles in 1913. However, the work of de Wolff and van Gelderen has only recently been translated from Dutch to reach a wider audience.

Kondratiev's ideas were not supported by the Soviet government. Subsequently he was sent to the gulag and was executed in 1938.

In 1939, Joseph Schumpeter suggested naming the cycles "Kondratieff waves" in his honor.

In recent years, there has been a resurgence of interest in the Kondratieff wave. The following is an excerpt from an article by Christopher Quigley that discussed how this theory works...

Joe Biden’s Son Appointed to Board of Directors of Ukraine’s Largest Gas Company

The sons know their father took Bribes and has shamed America and the White House. What feral scum now run America?

What a joke in decision making to further interest. Yes, killing of innocent people by burning them alive is fine as long as certain oligarchs get a seat to play where they had no interest before. Some things never change.

The West Wire News
13 May 2014

Vice President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, has been appointed to the board of directors of Burisma Holdings, a privately-owned natural gas company operating in the Ukraine since the year 2002. Burisma Holdings has become a considerable player within the Ukrainian natural gas and oil industry, with licences covering the Dnieper-Donets, Carpathian and Azov-Kuban basins. The production capability has reached over 10,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOEPD) which has left the company with considerable reserves.

“War drums of the world’s superpowers have been given a rhythm”

Hunter Biden has recently been appointed to the board of directors, from where he will exercise oversight of Burisma’s legal unit. Specifically cited by Burisma as offering support to the company among international groups, Hunter Biden’s clear qualifications for the job may be overshadowed greatly by office of the Vice President of the United States, which is held by his father Joe Biden. From the Burisma press report:

Mr. Biden has experience in public service and foreign policy. He is a director for the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, The Center for National Policy, and the Chairman’s Advisory Board for the National Democratic Institute. Having served as a Senior Vice President at MBNA bank, former U.S. President Bill Clinton appointed him an Executive Director of E-Commerce Policy Coordination under Secretary of Commerce William Daley. Mr. Biden served as Honorary Co-Chair of the 2008 Obama-Biden Inaugural Committee.

Mr. Biden is a member of the bar in the State of Connecticut, and the District of Columbia, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the Court of Federal Claims. He received a Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University, and a J.D. from Yale Law School.

R. Hunter Biden is also a well-known public figure. He is chairman of the Board of the World Food Programme U.S.A., together with the world’s largest humanitarian organization, theUnited Nations World Food Programme. In this capacity he offers assistance to the poor in developing countries, fighting hunger and poverty, and helping to provide food and education to 300 million malnourished children around the world.

Regardless of blurred lines of interest, it appears that the White House’s role in the current revolutionary atmosphere of the Ukraine has gotten more complicated. Now, with a direct line to the largest private oil and gas producer in the Ukraine, The Obama administration may have earned themselves a new seat of power at the bargaining table with Russia regarding the direction Ukrainian politics and sovereignty should move. In the dishevelment of Ukraine where supposed freedom fighters have shot their own, Nazis have been reported as lesser evil, and war drums of the world’s superpowers have been given a rhythm, it would seem the United States may have just purposefully made their tense dynamics with Russia’s Vladimir Putin become even more personal.
