Is this what our foreign policy has become?

As thousands more prepare to die, the UK Foreign Secretary spends 4 days cruising with Ego Mad and Sad BrAnjelina as the gruesome twosome exhibit her usual vanities as a tattooed, silicon lip injected Stick Insect seeking media attention as a serious B movie actress wants to be loved.

Serious foreign policy stuff: Actress and campaigner Angelina Jolie flashes a grin towards Foreign Secretary William Hague during a summit to end sexual violence in conflict at the Excel centre in London yesterday

Yesterday, as the barbaric Islamist militants cutting a swathe across Iraq closed in on Baghdad, William Hague was spending a fourth consecutive day posing for photographs alongside the Hollywood star Angelina Jolie at a London conference on rape.

On the recommendation of Mr Hague’s Foreign Office, the US born actress is today made a dame in the Queen’s Birthday Honours – timed, presumably, to maximise the PR benefit of her visit for the Government.

We commend Miss Jolie’s campaign to end the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war. But we fear that, sadly, it will have very limited impact in the world’s most brutal conflict zones.

The most dangerous division of Eric Holder’s DOJ that you’ve never heard of

Milking the public purse. Again, anyway, every way.

The Blaze
By Benjamin Weingarten
10 June 2014

There’s a little-known division of the Department of Justice that has been bilking the taxpayers of millions of dollars each year and redistributing it to its political and legal allies, creating costly and wide-reaching regulations without any congressional oversight or public comment and seeking to expropriate private land without compensation.

The name of this division? The Environment and Natural Resources Division (ENRD).

These revelations come from a new book out today titled “Obama’s Enforcer: Eric Holder’s Justice Department,” authored by the National Review’s John Fund and former presidential appointee to the FEC, counsel to the assistant attorney general for civil rights in the Justice Department and current Senior Fellow at the Heritage Foundation, Hans von Spakovsky.

The ENRD is the division of the DOJ that was responsible for the Gibson Guitar Corporation raid, which as some may recall nominally dealt with the legality of materials imported from Madagascar used in the fingerboards of the company’s guitars, in what appeared to be a politically motivated case. Part of the settlement that Gibson Guitar reached with the DOJ in order to continue as a going concern was to pay out $50,000 to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. The authors write:

“instead of making a payment to the U.S. Treasury Department for the American taxpayer, Justice in essence extorted money from Gibson Guitar to help fund the NFWF, a congressionally created private charity that hands out funds “to some of the nation’s largest environmental organizations, as well as some of the smallest,” according to its own website.

So basically, the Justice Department used its authority to engineer a settlement of government claims requiring the defendant to provide benefits to a private group that was not involved in the lawsuit and was not injured by the defendants’ actions.”

US quietly sending in troops to train former Soviet bloc states

And you wonder why American credibility is stretched to complete distrust with Russia and China?

WASHINGTON — As the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (Nato) refocuses on its eastern borders after Russia’s annexation of Crimea, the US is quietly deploying more troops to train special forces in former Soviet bloc states anxious about Moscow’s intentions.

Major exercises began last month in Poland, Slovakia and the Baltic states of Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia involving several hundred personnel from US special forces, the US European Command (Eucom) said.

Long-term plans include further training drills that will consistently keep about 100 US elite troops on the ground at any one time in NATO states close to Russia, with teams working in several countries, US officials said.

Iraqi Air Force evacuating besieged U.S. contractors

200 men who chose to kill for money are now surrounded. Maybe there can be justice if they get a taste of what they ruthlessly do to others.

So typical, more Mercenaries will die for failed policy as expendables. Must be a great recruitment campaign for volunteers for other regions.

No help from America's military as escape routes cut off

NEW YORK – A U.S. contractor in Iraq told WND the Iraqi Air Force has begun evacuations from Balad Air Force Base, where 200 American contractors were trapped by the al-Qaida-inspired jihadists who have seized control of two cities and are now threatening Baghdad.

A contractor with Sallyport Global, who asked not to be named, told WND through a Skype instant message that he was transported from Balad to Baghdad and was communicating from a C-130 preparing to take off to Dubai.

He said 300 in total have been evacuated from Balad, about 60 miles north of Baghdad, and another 100 are still awaiting airlift. He said the Iraqi Air Force is trying to evacuate everyone by midnight local time.

WND previously reported Friday that private contractors who have recently returned to the U.S. from Iraq said their former colleagues effectively had been abandoned by the U.S. military and were fighting for their lives against an army of jihadists surrounding the base who belong to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, or ISIS.

The Economic-Corporate Oligarchy of the World

It is all out there if you look and dare to think. Start with the Council for Foreign Relations and see the Corporate Power Base of America emerge.

Global Research

Today’s world is ruled by a myriad of multinational corporations and financial institutions that belong to a network of private round table organisations that stretch across the planet. There exists an international ruling elite that has been building an economic-corporate empire for over a century, which oppresses any dissent to their agenda.

A recent study conducted by Northwestern and Princeton University on America’s political system supports the thesis that political systems are not directed by the people of the country, but rather by a network of “economic elites” and “business interests”. The study concluded that the US political system is an oligarchy, where the “wishes of corporations and business and professional associations” are the driving forces behind policy decisions within the government.

“The central point that emerges from our research is that economic elites and organised groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on US government policy, while mass-based interest groups and average citizens have little or no independent influence” (Gilens and Page, 2014, p.3).

Blue Eagle Alchemy Project

Interesting. This would change a few things.

Blue Eagle Alchemy, with alchemist and Josef Tyles and CEO Martin Burger, a New Energy Congress advisor, takes waste material (e.g. ground up beer bottles) and create new precious elements. Burger says the process involves LENR. They are turning beer bottles into gold.

After writing that, Martin provided this correction:

Reviewed your blue eagle page and find it a bit misleading to say we turn beer bottle glass into gold. We use silica dioxide as an artificial barren seed ore crystalline Interferometry phase change step down for super light, creating the elemental bloom condition for the precious elements to be created.

John Milewski, who is a regular speaker at the TeslaTech conference has been involved in this project.

Thanks to Alan Smith of the U.K. for bringing this to our attention.

Government grabs $360 million from idle household bank accounts

When Governments want, they take.

Leaving your money untouched for just three years could see it snatched back by the government.

THE federal government has seized a record $360 million from household bank accounts that have been dormant for just three years, prompting outrage in some quarters amid complaints that pensioners and retirees have lost deposits.

Figures from the Australian Security and Investments Commission (ASIC) show almost $360 million was collected from 80,000 inactive accounts in the year to May under new rules introduced by Labor. The new rules lowered the threshold at which the government is allowed to snatch funds from accounts that remain idle from seven years to three years.

The rule change has delivered the government a massive bonanza with the money collected in the year to May more than the total collected in the past five decades combined. Between 1959 and 2012, the total collected was $330 million.
