‘Doomsday sputnik’: Russia said to launch new missile-attack warning satellite

OWoN: This is the beginning of the end. Who will first attack, then try to defend? For most of us then, it will be the end.

Once this is up Russia will have complete coverage and the ability to respond to a first strike before missiles are intercepted. One ponders if the world understands what and why this is happening, or even if it is understood that the neocons in America have a first strike doctrine. Their window to act is narrowing quickly.

God help us all if they are stupid enough to try.

After years of delay, Russia plans to deploy this year the first satellite of its new constellation replacing the space component of the early warning system, Russian media reported. It will also double as an emergency communication satellite.

The satellite was developed for the military, so naturally little is known about it. Identified by disambiguation ‘product 14F142’, it is expected to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2014, according to Kommersant newspaper.

The spacecraft will be the first in a constellation, aimed to replace the old Oko-1 early warning system, which allows Russia survey countries possessing nuclear-capable ballistic missiles and detect possible launches.

Oko-1 is currently in bad shape. To be fully operational, it needs four 73D6 satellites in placed in a highly elliptical orbit, dubbed ‘Molnya’ (lightning) orbit, to provide full-time coverage of the area of interest, and an additional backup satellite in a 71X6 geosynchronous orbit. Russia lost the last of the 71X6s in April this year and has not launched replacements for the 73D6s since 2008, with only two still operational.

Israel’s Netanyahu benefits from shooting down of Malaysian plane

OWoN: The whole story on this disaster is so confusing that nothing is clear.

What is truth, who is guilty?

An American political commentator believes that Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu benefits from the shooting down of a Malaysian passenger plane because he can continue his atrocities in Gaza

Press TV
21 July 2014

In an interview with Press TV on Sunday, Veterans Today editor James Henry Fetzer also rejected Washington’s allegation that Moscow was behind the incident.

“The report that the Russian weapons were used to down the Malaysian plane in Ukraine does not mean that Russia was involved or the Russian separatists in Ukraine had anything to do with it. What could Russia have possibly stood to benefit in shooting down this airplane?” Fetzer said.

“Russia has nothing to gain from this. Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu had everything to gain because it was occurring by remarkable coincidence at the very same time Israel is launching its massive inhumane savage slaughter of the Palestinian people in Gaza,” he added.

Russia urges greater access to MH17 crash site

OWoN: Who next dies for whose lies?

Even as Britain accused Moscow of “sponsored terrorism”, Russia has called on Kiev and pro-Russian rebels in eastern Ukraine to give global experts access to the crash site of Malaysian Airlines fight MH17 to facilitate their investigation.

“The Russian side appeals to both sides of the Ukrainian conflict, urging them to do everything possible to enable access for international experts to the airplane crash area in order to take action necessary for the investigation,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Pressure is mounting on Russia as worldwide outrage grows over downing of the aircraft. British Prime Minister David Cameron has warned Russia of further severe sanctions even as he charged European leaders of failing to “face up” to Putin.

Also on Saturday, Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel agreed at a phone conversation that there should be a “careful and unbiased investigation of all the circumstances” of the MH17 crash in eastern Ukraine and that it should be investigated by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Was MH17 Sabotaged By An Israeli Security Team At Amsterdam Schiphol Airport?

OWoN: The hole is getting deeper.

As the only non-European journalist to cover The Hague inquiry into the Amsterdam crash of El Al flight 1862 (October 1992), which destroyed a Biljmeer district apartment complex, I discovered many aspects of the Israeli security set-up at Schipol International Airport and the role of the Mossad intelligence agency in secret operations there, one of Europe’s business transport hubs. This same airport spy network is very likely involved in the recent crash of Malaysian Airlines flight 17 over the Ukraine.

Covering the Biljmeer crash for Japan Playboy, I uncovered the sordid facts of how the official investigation back then was undone by a large network of Israeli intelligence agents who paid hush money to victims’ families, pressured injured firefighters from filing lawsuits over radiation exposure, and suppressed data from the hangar where the wreckage was stored. The crippled El Al cargo jet, leased from UPS, had transported from JFK Airport in New York a secret load of weapons including plutonium, depleted uranium and a bioweapon called mycoplasm in its cargo bay before crashing on an attempt to return to Schipol Airport, in an operation directed by the Israeli intelligence service instead of Dutch flight officials.

Once again, this time in the destruction of MH17, there is an Israeli-connected air crash with political ramifications involving Israeli strategic interests, inside Israel exactly when its military launches an invasion of Gaza and in troubled Ukraine, a supplier of military electronics to the IDF.

Security at Schipol Airport is operated by ICTS, an Israeli-owned airport security company based in The Netherlands founded by former officers of the Shin Beit intelligence agency. Its subsidiaries are also involved in key security functions there, including ProCheck, Ramasso and I-SEC.

The Israeli security company has a record of staging false flag operations, including the September 11, 2001 attacks. ICaTS subsidiary Huntleigh provided passenger and baggage inspection services at Boston Logan Airport, where two of the four jetliners used in the 911 attack originated.

Military To Scan Soldier’s Brains For Signs Of Disloyalty?

OWoN: Should be used on politicians and Bankers.

Inquisitr
18 July 2014

A new system, dubbed HandShake by its developers, may scan the brains of U.S. soldiers and their allies in combat theaters to asses signs of disloyalty, potentially protecting them from insider attacks.

HandShake was developed by a company named Veritas, according to Activist Post, and is indicative of a larger trend in neuroscience that sees brain research applied in areas of predictive behavior. The technology utilizes specialized brain scans which can be used to monitor both U.S. troops and our allies for signs of disloyalty.

Though instances of insider attacks are statistically low in the U.S. Military, new interest is being taken in evaluating potential extremist threats from within. Veritas Scientific markets the HandShake technology, which was developed by a former U.S. Army counterintelligence agent, as a solution to the problem.

Using HandShake, a soldier would place a specially designed helmet on a subject, whether another military member or ally, who would then be shown a series of images. Electrodes fitted within the helmet are capable of reading electromagnetic signals in the brain while also scanning for blood flow changes. While most of the images shown would be benign in nature, some would be designed to trigger a reaction in the brain of a person who poses a potential insider threat, Defense One claims.

Ex Al-Qaeda Commander: USA Spent $20-30 Million to Establish ISIS, Which Works for CIA

 OWoN: Knock Knock, whose there?

The CIA - Welcome to my lair.

Madness and terror.

Nabil Na’eem, the founder of the Islamic Democratic Jihad Party and former top al-Qaeda commander, told the Beirut-based pan-Arab TV station al-Maydeen all current al-Qaeda affiliates, including ISIS, work for the CIA

Humans Are Free
21 July 2014

“What I want to tell you, the efforts of all Islamic countries, Sunni and Shiites, must combine to eradicate these groups because these groups are the claws of colonialism in the region,” Na’eem said.

Na’eem said ISIS, now IS or the Islamic State, is part of the neocon and Israeli “Clean Break” plan to balkanize the Arab and Muslim Middle East.

The conflict is designed to be “an endless war” that “exhausts Saudi resources and its monies, and it exhausts Iran resources and its monies, like what they did during the days of Saddam in Iraq (with Iran).”

The conflict will spread to Saudi Arabia and the other Gulf monarchies by 2016, Na’eem predicted. In June ISIS said it would attack Saudi Arabia. Hundreds of young Saudis have vowed to wage jihad in their homeland.

Behind Closed Doors | what it’s like to be interrogated by the Chinese secret police

It can be grim to get on the wrong side of the Chinese government

Quartz

“I began to talk about Thoreau’s essay on civil disobedience, but quickly felt like a ridiculous pedant. What’s the point of talking about the virtues of civil disobedience in a Beijing police station?”

So wonders Murong Xuecun, a Chinese author who was interrogated by the Chinese secret police for seven hours and wrote about it for the New York Times.

He was asked to come to the police station “for a chat” by the guobao after reading an essay at a private commemoration of the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre. Others who had contributed had been arrested already. And so Murong voluntarily attended the meeting and found himself in a shoe-print-covered room discussing the nature of the law with two officers.

“We discussed whether citizens ‘must obey the law,’” Murong wrote. “I said good laws should be obeyed but evil laws must be challenged. They strongly disagreed, insisting that the law must be obeyed whether it’s good or evil. ‘And you’re a graduate of the China University of Political Science and Law, eh?’ the younger one asked mockingly.”

Missile parts from Vietnam, bound for Ukraine, were found at Helsinki-Vantaa in June

Yle Uutiset
19 July 2014

A shipment of missile components bound for Ukraine and intercepted by Finnish customs originated in Vietnam, reports the daily Helsingin Sanomat. The paper wrote Friday that in June Finnish customs officers blocked the large consignment because it lacked the permits required to transit through Finland.

According to Helsingin Sanomat, the impounded shipment of components for what appears to be a missile guidance system originated in Vietnam and was bound for Ukraine.

Customs officials are awaiting confirmation from Finland’s defence forces on what kind of missile system parts are being delivered and at the same time trying to determine who will be on the receiving end in Ukraine.

They are also investigating whether or not the parts had been serviced in Vietnam as well as the reason why Finland was listed as a transit point on the bill of lading.

Customs officials will also be turning their attention to the airline that transported the components to discover what role it played in the entire scenario. At this point however the airline itself is not suspected of violating export regulations.
